On the morning of November 3rd, we welcomed the visit from universities in The Northern Consortium for students and parents who are interested in the IFY program in our International Department. These universities are Liverpool John Moores University, Sheffield Hallam University, Leeds Beckett University, The University of Sheffield, University of Bradford and Manchester Metropolitan University.
In the speech, the admission officers of each university introduced in detail about the history, advantages, proportion of international students and their study and living conditions of each university, as well as the advantages of entering the universities through our school’s IFY program. In the part of the college fair, parents and students asked the admissions officers a lot of questions to help students choose majors and universities in the future.

Liverpool John Moores University:
Located in the port city, Liverpool. It established the first maritime college in the UK.
Built the first engineering college in England. The major of Media ranks 6th, engineering ranks 15th, materials science ranks 16th, social work and education ranks 27th, and film production and photography ranks 7th in the UK.
92% of undergraduate students can find chances of further education or employment after graduation. The university also offers multiple internships and employment opportunities.
Sheffield Hallam University:
It makes great achievement about the employment development of graduates.
Sheffield is a safe city for international students.
Its engineering specialty is excellent.
Students who enter the university through IFY can adapt to the university's learning style in advance.
Leeds Beckett University:
Its history is nearly 200 years.
Students from 143 countries and regions and it has a strong international background.
140 undergraduate majors are provided to students. Business and law schools are located downtown with convenient transportation.
Has a close relationship with local companies. Famous companies including Panasonic, Apple Inc., the BBC, and others can provide employment to graduates.
The University of Sheffield:
As a member of the Russell group and Red Brick University, it ranks 13th in the UK universities rankings by QS.
Its business school is accredited by the ACCSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. Its academic research strength is abundant. Engineering research fund is the second largest in the UK.
Located in Sheffield, where is comfortable and affordable to live in.
University of Bradford:
Bradford is a city of diversity.
Founded the first business school in the UK. Its MBA program is highly competitive.
Research themes include health care, engineering, and sociology. It offers multiple opportunities for internship.
Manchester Metropolitan University:
It has 12 research centers with strong academic strength.
The school of architecture ranks 7th in the QS world rankings. Business is certified by the AACSB. The tourism major ranks 9th in the UK. Artistic professional performance is excellent. Its fashion major ranks 15th in the world.
IFY Students can receive a scholarship of 2,000 pounds after success enrollment.
International students come from 120 countries and regions.
